HE is.....

We often find ourselves asking What does He want???? What do I do next??? Am I on the right track????
I find that this Verse is one of my Favs....What he wants of us never changes. What do you do?
Act Justly
Love Mercy
 and 
Walk Humbly with your GOD.

I like to keep this one close by. You could spend weeks on this verse, or you could break it down to three simple Rules. What God wants from us NEVER CHANGES. because He never changes, He is the same  yesterday, today, and Forever.   

Today I want to talk a little bit about #3,

Walk Humbly with your God.

If we break this down, what does this mean? He wants to be a part of our daily life, to wake up with us, to do chores with us, and to just BE with us. We need to invite him in, talk to him all day long throughout your day. We need to spend our day finding ways to Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him for Anything and Everything you think of during the day. 

I have started a PRAISE LIST, basically names and  attribbutions  of God. As I read through THE BOOK, I write down every reference that fits my Praise List. If I am out and about one come to me I write it down when I come home....

Summer 2011 Disney Trip

We went to Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom... Its was a busy, but fun filled week! The kids, Jason being the biggest one, LOVE DISNEY WORLD! Its crazy how much they love it, but i guess it is jam packed with FUN 24/7!!!

The Entertainment as we are STILL waiting in line... It was the only ride that we had to wait a LONG time for, like 60 minutes!!!!!!!

A lot of the kids fav section from last time was closed, they are building a new castle and a whole new area- Beauty and the Beast's Castle I believe. We got some great pics from there "wall" though....

Caroline loved, loved, loved the Merry Go Round- It was so beautiful, and she has loved it every time we have been here!

This was on that little TOM SAUYERS island. WE had never been to this section, they had such a ball running loose all over the island, all over the bouncy bridges and tunnels and winding paths!

 And for the finale... WE got the BEST SEATS IN DISNEY for the fireworks and lights show...I had booked ahead at a dessert buffet that the internet said had the best seats...and boy were they. I really don't think there was a better seat in the park, plus we got an AMAZING dessert buffet to enjoy SITTING down (remember this isn't till 10PM folks). They even brought an amazing plate just for AW and I of gluten free goodies!!! I wish I had taken some dessert pics, its was a pretty amazing spread!

The End....for a few years anyways

My Fire has been LIT- Praise GOD!

I have a really hard week/weeks since school started. I was floundering, I didn't feel a "purpose"??? I was almost just stunned into complete comotose state during the day for the first couple of weeks... I can't believe I am admitting this, but there is a point I wanna share... Those first couple of weeks all I did was sleep and watch Netflix  "24" Episodes... I did NOTHING else... Oh, well I ATE, and ATE, and ATE... this is what I do when I am depressed. I needed help, but where did I turn? Inward, to SELF, and then some other major things have come up...I won't go into that....but I got so upset and who did I look to ME? I blamed me, I said things about myself that are not true, and I wallowed in it...

But guess what happened, in the midst of this the Lord God has lit a fire under me suddenly. He is whispering truths in my ear... You  are beautiful, You are Created in MY image, You are LOVED!

Last Beach Week of the Summer???

Our last beach day of this season???? It was the PERFECT BEAUTIFUL DAY! All of the cousins had a ball!!!! My children are surely beach bums, after my own heart of course!!!! Caroline and AW could ride waves in all day long!!! Jack is take it or leave it with the water, but he still has a ball! He loves to create in the sand too!

And we also got to see Cousin Joesph for the first time! Caroline was enthralled! I spent half the day holding him too!!!! Babies are so sweet, he is just perfect!!! He smells perfect, He cuddles perfect, He makes Perfectly cute little faces!!!!!! We love you baby Joesph and cannot wait to be involved in your life as you grow up to become an amazing young man!!!!!! Congrats Aunt Megan, Uncle Glen, and Big Brother Matt!!!

Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord

I was just blessed to read my friend Katie Carter's website....What she was writing about, well it really hit home with me.--here is part of what Katie said....

"I am constantly amazed at how in the bible God always refers to the covenant he made with his people.

  We are his and he is ours.  

I am no better and probably would fit in well with Jerusalem.  We all would. 

I don't deserve his love or forgiveness but I am so thankful that he made a promise to me.

  He found me, cleaned me up, and said "LIVE".  To God be the glory!"

And she ended it with a song that I had never heard, and I HEART the words. I really feel that I, well all of us, can truly worship through song- Listening to the words, Meditating on them, allowing them to lead our thoughts to the GLORIFYING OF THE LORD.

I want to end with her prayer- Wow, it was a powerful, amazing prayer! I have been studying prayer- listing prayers from the bible in a notebook, reading on Prayer, listening to audiobooks and podcasts on prayer, and also writing down prayers of others that I see and could learn from. I am prayerfully working on bettering my prayer life I guess you could say!!!!
 Here is Katie's Prayer:
Father I pray that what I am about to write will be pleasing to you o Lord.  Take away my anger towards what is going on and put in me a righteous indignation and the desire to stand up for the truth of your word and who you are, not serve my own agenda or purpose..  Protect me and my friends from the lies and deceit the devil is spreading.  Bring those who have fallen prey to wrong thinking towards you.  Break the hearts of those trying find truth in the lies so much so that they have no other choice than to turn towards you and see the one and only truth.  Rise up a person or people who have fallen prey to the 'religion' of the devil already has a large sphere of influence and cause them to become a mighty warrior for truth.  Help others to see you in their changed heart and know you are the one true God.  Convict and take away from us the confusion, guilt, fear, hurt, discontent, greed, and all the other parts of our sinful hearts that cause us to want to believe what the devil offers is light and beauty.  Help us see it for what it is, sin and filth, blasphemy against the one true God.  Allow us to turn our hearts back to you and be a generation, a people who love and know the God of the bible, of Abraham, Moses, and David.  Make yourself known and bring glory to your name.
